In the heart of Valtellina, the Agneda Farm passionately carries on a long family tradition. We are a family-run farm specializing in animal husbandry and viticulture, with a special focus on quality and sustainability.
All the fodder used for feeding the animals is produced internally: a closed production cycle that guarantees quality, traceability, and respect for the environment.
Our animals live according to the rhythms of nature. The breeding follows a seasonal altimetric cycle: starting from the valley floor (268m asl), moving up in spring to the mid-mountain pastures (1240m asl), and finally reaching, in June, the Acquanera alpine pasture in Valmalenco, where they spend the summer freely at 2116 meters of altitude.
For several years, our farm has held organic certification in the livestock sector: a recognition that attests to our commitment to agriculture that respects the environment, the animals, and consumer health.
From the farm to the table, each of our products tells a story of quality and authenticity.
We raise Brown Swiss cows and Frisa goats for the production of organic raw milk cheeses, Aubrac cattle for meat, and pigs for the production of artisanal cured meats.
We produce Dos Salat wine, an elegant and authentic Nebbiolo, born on the sunny terraces of the Rhaetian mountains of Valtellina.
We collaborate with local Solidarity Purchase Groups to promote conscious and sustainable consumption.
We await you at our company store in Sondrio, open all year round, where you can buy our products directly and get to know our world up close, on the mountain pasture to discover high-altitude life, and in our chalet for a relaxing holiday.
